The CoEval Project

coeval (n): a contemporary, a peer

We have more information than ever at our fingertips but finding meaning has never been harder.
CoEval aims to help highlight the signal within the noise.

CoEval is a crowdsourced and expert-driven database evaluating companies that aim to be at the intersection of AI and life/physical sciences (and we may expand from there!). We’re run by mission-driven volunteers who are hoping to provide a useful resource to the broader community.  We seek to help find the signal within the noise and in particular, to highlight the “underdogs,” the quiet companies with strong technology but who are getting limited attention, providing a structured, transparent review process for the ecosystem.  Our goal is that this becomes a powerful resource for companies, jobseekers, BD professionals, investors, and many more in helping understand what the differences are between the hundreds of companies who all sound like they’re doing basically the same thing.
